This page says what we collect, why, and who else sees it. It describes what the system actually does — not what we might do one day.
When you order or subscribe, we keep:
We ask for this because we cannot press juice for you and bring it to your door without knowing who you are and where you live. We do not ask for anything we do not need to fulfil an order.
Payments are handled by Cardcom, an Israeli payment provider. When you pay, you are on Cardcom’s own secure payment page — your card number and CVV go from your browser to Cardcom and never reach our servers. We never see them, and they are never stored by us.
If you choose to save a card for future orders, Cardcom gives us a token — a reference that lets us charge that card again without ever holding its number — and we store that token together with the last four digits and the expiry date, so staff can tell which card is on file. The token is stored on our server only, is never sent to a browser, and is never written to a log.
Cardcom’s payment page may ask for your teudat zehut. That number is passed to Cardcom and is not kept by us — not in your record, not in our payment history, not in a log.
To sign in to your account you enter your phone number and we send you a six-digit code by SMS. The code is delivered by Twilio, which processes your phone number in order to send the message. Codes are short-lived and expire a few minutes after they are sent.
Being signed in sets one cookie, so the site knows it is you on your next page. It is used for nothing else — no advertising, no tracking you across other sites.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. It reaches these companies only because the service needs them to work:
This site uses Vercel Analytics to count visits. It records things like which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visitor was, and what kind of device they used. It is not tied to your name or your account, and it is not used for advertising.
We keep your details for as long as you have an account with us, so that ordering again does not mean typing everything in again. Ask us to close your account and we will remove your personal details.
One thing outlives that, and we would rather say so plainly: our record of payments is kept permanently, because it is our accounting history and a business has to be able to show what was charged and refunded. Those records hold the amount, the date and the outcome — not your card number.
We keep regular backups of our records, so that an outage or a mistake does not lose your order history. Backups are stored in a private folder on Google Drive, which encrypts them at rest.
Backups never contain saved-card tokens. If we ever had to restore from one, anyone with a card on file would simply be asked to enter it again.
Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or close your account and delete your personal details. Your subscriptions and past orders are visible to you at any time in your account.
Ask us anything about this — by phone or WhatsApp on 02-533-7221, or by email at care@holyjuicejerusalem.com.
